There's a massive SA event for it (not an ACG event however).
Not so much working on anything but there's supposed to be 30+ of us there in costume.

There's a rumour that these may be Stormtrooper helmets from the upcoming Episode Seven.

Thanks for sharing Merrick. I did get to see Ep.7 when it first came out. However, I am not going to make a new republic costume just too much drafting and not enough time. So I have decided to do a Jocasta Nu from Attaack of the Clones. She was the Chief Jedi Archivist and sat in the Jedi Council.  See: http://www.rebellegi...om/jocasta-nu/ The Rebel Legion lists this characters skirt as being a wrap skirt. Most plain wrapt skirts I own are A Line or straight. This type of skirt design wouldn't give the gathered effect. So I have opted to make a half circle wrap skirt with custom hemline on the front skirt. You can see my  progress on http://www.rossiesstuffnsew.blogspot.com.au

It will be a slow build because I have to sandwich it between university and work.

Wish me luck and a learning adventure.
