There's this little exhibition of some costumes that might be of interest to one or two of you.

The glorious Wardrobe of Phryne Fisher and others from season three of "Miss Fishers Murder Mysteries" will be on show at Old Government House Brisbane from 15 July to 4 September.

Some of you may want to go in Deco, perhaps...   If you're keen, throw some dates around and we'll see what suits most...

UPDATE:

21st August 11 am session  book your tickets below

http://www.ogh.qut.e...miss-fisher.jsp

and lunch afterwards in the Pantry Café at old government house

Pick me, pick me! I'm pretty sure Cheryl would be interested too.

Shall I scope out the calendar and organise a Thing. Or did we want to do this and the Loyalty, Loss and Love on the same day?

My rules for costuming:

This is down the other end of town at Old Government House, so probably a different day?

Sigh... One day I'll learn my way about town... :)

August looks to be pretty light on (at least for me), how's about then?

Same for me...August is clear except for the 7th as 19th Century are at Fort Lytton and for others the ACG Ball is on the 27th so we loose that entire weekend.

So that gives us

Sat   6th

Sat   13th

Sun  14th

Sat   20th

or

Sun  21st

Also busy on the 7th oddly, would rather not have two events on the same weekend... would anyone have any objections to the end of August maybe Sunday the 21st.

Though I did meet someone today who is in the know re this event and she may have hinted that there will be some talks going on which have only just been organised, so watch this space and I'll try to find out some more goss ;)

That's cool ladies, but just be aware the Pantry Café at Old Gov House is not open on a Saturday (according to their web page) which is why I have organised this event for a Sunday. I would also appreciate it if content on this thread is solely in reference to the event on the 21st just to avoid any confusion. Thanks
