That could be cool. How often would the group do stuff do you think?

Sounds like it could be good. I've been wanting to make a Stargate costume but without having anywhere to wear it I haven't bothered with it yet.

Absolutely!! smile.gif

I'm working on research on the new Season 4 Atlantis uniforms, with the intention of getting together an Atlantis team for one day of Brisbane Supanova next year in April.

I'm also hoping to wear it again in November if we head over to Armageddon in Melbourne - there's a lot of Stargate fans there and a few of them who are interested in the costuming side as well.

I would like to do both teams eventually.

This is cool and I'm definitely in.
I'll have to watch SGA a bit more, before I'm convinced to costume it.

I'm up for both!! And keeping in theme, I'd love to do medical for both tongue.gif

I've already got a Dr Fraiser costume, but that can just be a generic doctor (though I've still gotta do the eppaulettes and badges). I'm also going to work ont he Dr Keller costume, but again,t hat can be a generic medical person as well for our Aussie team biggrin.gif

just found this info on Scifihero.net web site about how to form a Team

Any registered member of the SciFiHero.NET can petition to have a local Costuming group (AKA SG-Teams, BSG-Teams) if the following guidelines are met:

1) The founding members are registered members of SciFiHero.NET. StargateHero.NET has already established Regions and all other site's teams will follow those same regions.

2) There are at least 4 members in a local geographical area (defined and approved by the StargateHero.NET Admin/CO and Team Commandant)
2a) A local geographical area can be either defined as a country, region of a country, a series of connected states/provinces/countries, a single state/province/country, or a region of a state/province/country
2b) A local geographical area with 4 or more members can break off and form their own group so long as it does not reduce the original group to below 4 members.

3) At least 1 member of the local group is working on or has completed a Site related costume, prop, or project.

4) That the local group agrees to follow proper conduct and rules of SciFiHero.NET.

5) That the local group agrees to promote not only their local group, but also SciFiHero.NET.

6) The petition must be approved by a simple majority of the Executive Council of

7) Finally, the Site Admin/CO and for StargateHero, theTeam Commandant must approve the petition.

The petition should include a Statement as to why you want to start a Regional Team, a list of founding members.

These regulations can be altered at anytime and without notice by the SciFiHero.NET Admin/CO or the Executive Council

Thanks for that Starfire!

I'd definitely also be interested in a BSG group if there isn't one already.

I signed up for ScifiHero.net thingy a few days ago, and definitely will be doing a Stargate Atlantis season 4 uniform for Brisnova, probably as a member of the Science/R&D team. Am researching the uniform at the moment and scouting for the right material......
