Has anyone used Gapoxio before, and is it light?
I want to use it to sculpt over armour.

I don't really like working with sculpey as I find the finished product is still relatively heavy, and isn't that strong... plus I don't have an oven big enough to bake the finished work in >_<;

Also, does anyone have any other alternatives? I was hoping for an air drying clay that dried to be lightweight; I was also thinking of building filler but I find it's very hard to move around as easily as DAS or sculpey ;x unless I'm using the wrong type or something? haha -.-;

Edit: nevermind - the tutorial I was looking at said it was also pretty heavy >_<; I'll find another alternative smile.gif

A tip when sing fibreglass fillers like builder's putty is to coat the part and then use rasps and hacksaw blades to roughly shape it while it's not completely set.It's much easier to remove the material when it's a little rubbery rather than waithing for it to fully harden.

Hacksaw blades are great for smoothing out curvescause you can bend them to any desired radius and the teeth with easily remove the filler as it's setting.
