Hi, laugh.gif
Im so happy, just come back from Spotlight and I couldnt believe my eyes. There was the soft apple green velvet just about an exact match to arwins green coronation gown. I never thought i would find velvet in that colour in spotlight. Wow.
Also happy, as in the curtain fabric section i found a silver fabric with leaves on it suitable to make my daughters Lucy outfit from the new Narnia movie coming up, now I only need to find the orangy red velvet for the rest of the dress, and that hard to find purple fabric for susans dress, my other daughter will be wearing that one - on the condition she gets to have bow and arrows!. I promised the kids they could wear costumes to the movie when it comes out and I dont know whos more excited me or them! rolleyes.gif

Well done - that is a very hard colour to match, especially in velvet. I might keep an eye out up here to see if they will stock it as well.

Sounds like I'll have to check my local Spotlight's as well since I've also been looking for that fabric. biggrin.gif

Just want to double check....this is green velvet not crushed or panne velvet?

If it is the same material I am thinking of it is velour so it has a stretch. It is not crushed!!!! It is the same fabric I bought over a year ago from a different company and it is an EXACT match to the fabric swatch!

I love this site. I am going to make an Arwin gown for my name sake's avatar. Although it will be next year's project. I have to finish what I've started already.
