Okay, so did anyone else spend this evening drooling over the Hallmark version of 'The Snow Queen' with Jane Fonda?

wub.gif I love her outfit, though I do keep looking at her necklace and thinking Moulin Rouge. biggrin.gif I much prefer the way she looks to the version created for the Lion, The Witch and Wardrobe.

Her cloak and dress reminds me a bit of Padme's Parade Dress but it's all still beautiful and the other characters looked pretty cool too.

This is one of my old time, classic fairytale faves, along with The Wild Swans and the Russian Twelve Months.

All the time I was watching her i kept thinking Pademe's Wedding gown was kinda similar for the underneath dress.

But I must say that I have always wanted to do a snow queen costume. Probably would not be the same as the movie but it definitely gave me some ideas about how i would like to do mine one day.

Beautifully presented, -but I spent alot of the add breaks telling my mum all the bits they left out or changed. -I loved the purple dress she was wearing for a while.

Yah, it was actually released in 2002 so it should be on dvd somewhere. I'm thinking I may want to get it myself and see what it's like without all the ad breaks. That and be able to pause it every so often! biggrin.gif

So annoying, cos the swimming went overtime my recording (even with a time buffer) missed the end of the program! So now I have to find a DVD copy too...

Be seeing you,
