If anyone remembers the very over-the-top red gown worn by Gwen Stefani in her 'Whatcha Waitin For' video, I have just uploaded the entire Dior Couture collection that the gown game from, onto my Photobucket. I downloaded the images, as well as tons of detail shots, some time ago and just found them. The detail shots are in a separate folder of the main gallery.

Oh thats one of my favourite clips - I bought it on itunes I like it so much. I see the red queen dress there that she wears. I happen to like the white top hat and wild dress thing she wears as well. Do you know who did the rest of the costumes for the clip??

I love that clip too, but I'm hugely Alice in Wonderland obsessed.
John Galliano designed the gowns for the clip (he designs for Dior). But a lot of the outfits she wears in the video look very Vivienne Westwood inspired, but thats probably just because of the shoes.

That's a very clever video clip, I've always liked her outfits.

Not really sure what Dior is about these days, is Galliano still designing for them exclusively? Those bustlines are a little ODD, looks like
they've all slipped down the models' bodies to expose their chicken fillets, LOL. Is the designer poking fun at women? A strange thing to do if you want to sell frocks, I would have thought. I know the catwalk show is concept only, but I can't see many well-heeled American ladies asking for that "bare breasted" look on their ball gowns, can you?

On the other hand, very theatrical indeed, some nice colours, and fancy pleats happening. Bit of a mish mash though. Perhaps that's the theme, LOL .

Hooroo,
Christine
