I'm a visual effects artist from the states now based in Sydney working on an Independent Science Fiction/Horror HD/mini series, each episode will only run about 5 minutes and will be launched as an online show airing for free, so profit is not the motivating factor in producing this, I would rather see a highly creative project open eyes and ears to the potential of small digital productions, as well give exposure to every artist that helps this vision come alive.

The Project will be completely shot in a chroma key/green screen facility, so the visuals will be very controlled.

My project is Independent and working from a micro budget which is completely funded out-of-pocket. The project will be filmed 100% in Sydney on a very short/compact schedule in early to mid November 2008.

I'm currently looking for a creative and motivated costume designer/creator. To give you an idea of the sort of costume designs required, think productions like Battlestar Galactica, Firefly and Blade Runner, the human characters need to function in the real world despite the futuristic setting.

As well I am looking for a props maker good with making weapons and costume add-ons.

There are other departments which are still open for anyone interested in working on a fun Sci-fi project. such as:

special effects makeup artist
hairdresser
assistant directors
production assistants
script supervisor


I am looking for volunteer help of all skill levels, from the industry-experienced tech, to the beginner seeking to
gain experience. Meals, credit and copy of the project will be provided.
