For my next project I plan on cosplaying as Zero from Code Geass.

I think the most complex part will be the helmet.

Here is an example of what someone else has made:

Any advise on what to use or techniques to build this?

I would try laquered paper mache' unless you want to get into Vac forming - the blue bubble I think will be the hardest thing to do/source - I like the Visor bit - good Luck! smile.gif

My first thought was to vac-form it. I'm just not sure how complex the molds will be.

Apparently the guy who made the one above used craft foam covered in black vinyl. That might be the better option for me.

I have no idea what to use for the blue bubble, it has to be something that I can at least see through.

EDIT: I found where I could buy the one above for $385, not including postage and shipping blink.gif

However, I did find a list of the actual materials used:
PH9 Polyurethane
Larisa Fake leather
Polyvinyl Chloride
Paint for lamps of the car
Leather metal fittings

I've been thinking this very question myself. I want to go as Zero sometime, but that helmet looks rather tedious.
