Hi everyone,
I visited this forum two years back when I was just starting out kigurumi and anime mask cosplaying in Australia,
here: http://www.australiancostumersguild.org.au...p?showtopic=936

Thanks to all the support and resources given to me by you guys and others all over the world,
I've now more or less perfected mask making methods and is more experienced in the art of anime mask cosplays.
My website houses over 20 galleries of different anime mask cosplays in different costumes and I also run a forum for kigurumi fans and cosplayers alike.
You are always welcome to take a look at:
http://wyu.ulmb.com/
and the forums at:
http://wyu.proboards83.com/index.cgi

I've also started exporting the masks I made internationally, currently most buyers are from the US and Canada.
With this I hope that anyone who are interested in this hobby will be able to obtain the high quality masks which even now is rarely available outside of Japan.
Below are some of the sculpted and painted masks I make and all the designs are available for orders if interested.

(Sorry for the large pictures)
I'm also wondering, is there anyone interested in anime mask cosplays in Australia just for clean, fun and accurate anime-ish cosplay.
Feel free to drop me a message, who knows, we can start a small group and show the community a rarely seen genre of cosplay here in Australia.

Regards

The results of the cosplays for those who are unfamiliar will looke like the pictures below.
The facial alikeness to anime and comic characters are amazing.
Some may find them creepy at first, looking like a living moving doll, but most will find them cute and unique.

Once again, my apologies for the large pictures. unsure.gif

Hi again Papa~ laugh.gif
I still remember you telling me abt your interest in it.
Its been 2 years, time flies.

Yeah I've been to AVCON last year, but as a visitor, not a cosplayer.
You might be seeing an anime mask cosplayer this year, not certain about the facts yet, but someone has already gotten my mask in Adelaide.

It would be great if I can find some people to start a small group ... but I'm just gonna be patient seeing how quiet things are in here~ rolleyes.gif

What did you cosplay as last year at Avcon? I took photographs of almost everyone so you might have seen me~^^

I was Full Metal Alchemist - Hard to miss with the Blue Uniform and grey beard, not sure what I am going to do this year yet, but at this point the Guild is running a panel on the Saturday morning - if you see me come up and say hello!

This is new information, do we need a volunteering thread for this?

OOOh thats you.
Sure didn't miss you
Took a picture with you haha
Sorry, may I remain anonymous for now.

Don't think I'll be going to the panel. Don't even know where that is ... don't have the slightest idea whats going on at all.
Anyway, thanks. Really hope to get people to do this.
Its really really rare and you have to do it right or it will just be bad practice.
Got one other person in Adelaide so far... nothing outstanding.

Would be good if more people can tell me your views on kigurumi cosplay.
Btw, I made a new mas which I'm trying for a quick sale.
Yeah I commission masks to support my future projects.
Take a look here

I'll leave the messages here just to keep people informed. laugh.gif

>>Merrick, sorry are you telling me I can look for volunteers here?
Would be heeeaps good.. but the thing is... they need to make masks and they cost heaps for material and time.
Aw whatever, if you're keen you'll not mind right?
How do I get a volunteering thread?
