Hello, I'm stumbling back into the land of the living .... I've been a bit zombie like lately wacko.gif

Anyhoo, it's probably time to organise our end of year, open genre thing? do we want a picnic lunch & where would suit most peeps. Could we aim for the Parramatta area or nearby? I'm thinking that a Sunday afternoon would suit quite a few peeps, so start suggesting dates & places ... or you'll end up with what my poor braincells come up with. (Sometimes it's good & sometimes it's plain silly).

I'm happy to have a picnic lunch in Parramatta Park. Or to go back to Linwood House again. Or to host something at my place. Or to drive up to the Blue Mountains and picnic there. It's all goooooooood.

Wherever you decide is good. So far, all sundays in December are free and Mid november could be good as well.

We have a date, time & place.

Sunday 6 December, from 12:30pm at Parramatta Park. :-) Just gotta figure out if near the rose garden is a good spot, or where we met the first year (for those who remember wearing our picnic blankets to stay warm).

Oh, and time to dither about what to wear .....

If I'd spent time getting my fan out of storage instead of whining about the heat, I might have got more sewing done. wacko.gif blush.gif

I've picked what I'm going to wear, and if I get enough sewing done I can finish what I dithered too long over. Mind you yesterday not sewing was the smartest thought I had all day. If i can't put my cafetiere together (something I've done every day for years) it's time to not risk anything else. I was hoping it wasn't 1st stage zombification.

I have no idea what that means..haha

I will be busting my a..... to get my dress done for sunday. I work best under stress tho, so it should get done.
I did get my handbag done today at work...looks pretty cool, carries my gun very nicely.

My sewing machine at home does not like cheap cotton ...at all!! Sewing lycra with cheap cotton is hell. ohmy.gif I will be switching cottons tomorrow so things should go a little easier ...hopefully.

See you in the Rose Garden.

LOL, further proof I wasn't making sense that day. I've used an italian coffee percolator for about 8 years. So if I'm capable of leaving out the essential parts of it, then I'm not safe to do much else.

See you at the Rose Garden ... it looks like we'll need sunblock, yay.

It's looking more and more like I'm not going to make it on Sunday. I'm flat out finishing the Dancing Studio order, then I have to make a couple of costume pieces for my own dancing daughter on Sunday for the Monday show. I think I'm going to "retire" from this job next year, this year is my 10th with the Studio and they keep leaving it later and later to place orders and making them more complicated each time. I'll let someone else have all the FUN, not !! Don't wait lunch for me on Sunday, if I can pop in I will. Merry Christmas in advance, just in case, VBG.

Lady Jane, I hope you get all the dance costumes done, and that your daughter's performance goes well tomorrow. If you get a chance to pop in, it'd be great to see you but I undertand if you can't.
