Just wanted to post a photo of my latest cossie, Rorschach.

There's still a lot of tweaking to do (for instance another few packs of brown dye for the coat, an actual purple/maroon suit and brown gloves) but I think it's getting there. I wore this to a Halloween-themed birthday and let me just say it's not exactly the most appropriate costume for these warmer days. tongue.gif

For those on Facebook you can see a detailed overview of the project here: My Stupid Projects: -- Rorschach

I'll be wearing this again for another birthday soon so hopefully I can get stuff updated in time!

The best Rorschach I've seen so far.
Excellent attention to details, also.
Good job man, and good luck finishing it.
Go ahead, make my coffee.

Now I know what you're thinking - "does he want two sugars or only one?" Well to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I've kind of lost track myself.
But being that I don't like my coffee too strong or too sweet, you’ve got to ask yourself one question – "do you feel lucky" – well do you, punk?

I've just re-dyed the coat and it's a lot darker now thanks to a ployester dye I finally found (at the city Spotlight. I was going to the one on South Road).

I've also water-proofed it with wax dressing, the same type used on those Driza-Bone coats. Unfortunately, it's turned out WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY darker than I wanted (almost black in some light) but it does look a lot more weathered and ragged than before.

Argh crap! I really stuffed up the coat now. Because of the wax it's made it really dark. SO much so it almost looks like black in some lights. I'm thinking of washing ans scrubbing it in hot water to remove the wax and then if it's light enough re-dying it again! mad.gif

Here's my updated coat for Rorschach thanks to a polyester dye I found (didn't even know that existed!).

Still a few things to update but I'm going to take my time now with it.
