6 December 2009
Meeting at Butterfly House at the Mount Cootha Botanical Gardens at 11am, and we'll go on from there at around 11.30 to find a picnic location. If you haven't arrived by 11.30, you might have to call me to find us!
Bring:
Your secret santa present!
Your santa hat/reindeer ears for photos
BYO drinks, whether bubbly or otherwise, I would definitely bring plenty of water.
Lunch plan was as follows:
Narelle - Ham
David - Salads
Nathan - a Desert
Jane - Fruit
Rebecca - Breadrolls and Christmas Pudding/Cake
Cherie - Creme de menthe pie (aka Soylene Green Pie!)
Angela - Chicken
We'll be playing graces, french cricket (of course - cricket for Christmas is a must!) and apparently there will be Christmas Carols as well..... (Not sure whose idea that was)
The picnic is also open to whoever would like to come, newcomers are more than welcome, and if you have family/friends that would enjoy an opportunity to dress up for an xmas party, please bring them too!

I just wanted to say that I had a really good time and that I'm so glad I came to it. As you probably knew that I had really bad news and was feeling down. It was just so great to be around such wonderful, positive and jovial friends.
As I was driving home I had a smile on my face and realized that it's because of all you fantastic, positive people that I love being in the Qld Chapter of the ACG.
Merry Christmas to all, you are all Angels.
Love, David
