Firstly well done to yoyoydyne, Lady Silverspider and Hass as well as the other folks from Dynamic Creations! I'm looking at the ad in the Fringe Guide and it's special. And only 7 weeks away!

Here's the text version of the ad:

"Steampunk Ball ~ The Maiden Flight of the Olympia

Presented by Dynamic Creations and supported by The Australian Costumers Guild and the Adelaide University Fringe Club.
Exit the world you know. Enter a fully immersive, interactive 1890s experience. In a Steampunk universe-of-yesteryear become a passenger of the Olympia on its maiden voyage to the moon! Dress the part; formalwear minimum, brass goggles optional. Visit www.adelaidesteampunk.info for inspiration and to pre-register your character."
To protect the world from devastation... R

Gee, thanks Merrick, YES TICKETS ARE ON SALE TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!, so don't delay.

We thought it would be easy to just redo it, well Thats not happenening, Most of the game has been completely rewritten, lots of new characters and we have been listening to everyones ideas about running the game more effectively. Our desire to to take this to a complete new level.

people who have played previously, this is a chance to do all the stuff you werent quite sure what to do last time.

We don't know how quickly tickets will sell , but there are two nights to choose from, Carclew is an awesome location, and I dont want anyone from the guild to miss out.

and bring your passports from the last game.

Yes we will need some help leading up to the events, more prop building etc. please contact me if you wish to help .

Just seen a photo of the Carclew Youth Arts House for the first time and I must say it certainly is an appropriate-looking venue! biggrin.gif

I'm trying to decide which night I want to attend...

Well, I'm certainly glad I kept my passport!

Hmmm... I'm thinking I'm going to want to attend both of them... we are allowed to attend both, right?
Oh, and would it be possible to purchase the ticket on the night?

Finding some of this registering stuff a little over-whelming though... unsure.gif kinda slightly confused what to do with it all.

And I should hopefully have something somewhat more special ready by the time the event comes around.
Go ahead, make my coffee.

Now I know what you're thinking - "does he want two sugars or only one?" Well to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I've kind of lost track myself.
But being that I don't like my coffee too strong or too sweet, you’ve got to ask yourself one question – "do you feel lucky" – well do you, punk?

Yeah, I think I get too overly paranoid that I'll fill things out incorrectly. wink.gif

Also, I think I need to buy tickets first!

Yeah I'd better get on to that too!

Don't stress too much, there's gotta be some organisational perks to knowing the organisers. It's handy we can talk to them anytime.

One would worry more for your own safty, Mr. Toddi.
The Olympia is lovely and quite the prized dirigible, one would be rather unfortunate to meet their end upon it's maiden flight.

Wow. Its getting close, We have had another creative meeting this morning and ticket sales are popping along, WE are really excited about this event, which we hope will have a much more coherent games structure, more displays and more people. However if you have brought your tickets go to the steampunksa
website to register your for your character. And if you do decide to play both nights you will get a different character each night. And a completely different game. I hope we see as many familiar faces as possible, we really need your support as I dont think any of us have had a break since before christmas and were getting a little crazy. tell your friends. You... on the motorcycle, You two girls, free parking.

I all can say is I canot wait to see your costume Pontip, Holy crap the reference is awesome. Because of your outfit we have cast you as the evil Thomas Edison , the ruler of edisontown. Are you dragging any of your friends along as id like to team you up with them.
If only you could see the things in my head, This night is going to end in tragedy.I want to speak with you before the evenings event , I have special plans.

That. Sounds. AWESOME!!!! ohmy.gif

Mind you I'm now overcome with feelings of dread and regret (maybe I should've said 'minor' character in my registration).

You want minions for me don't you? [Mr Burns]Excellent...[/Mr Burns] I don't know if any of my friends are coming along but I can get back to you on that.
