Here are the details, but if you would like to sit as a group/with our ACG group, and to secure a good location at the tables, we must purchase tickets in the next day or so!!!
PLEASE RSVP ASAP here or to Narelle or Cherie.

Due to the Order of Ticket/Seat Allocation, we need to purchase as a group - Abbey will then allocate/seat half the group on one side of the table & half on the opposite side of the table.

Admission to the Banquet is by Pre-paid Tickets only. TICKETS go on sale TODAY 1st February 2010 and usually sell within the first few weeks.

$78.50pp - NO Concessions/discounts

Doors open at 5.45 pm. Guests to be seated by 6.20 pm for the Opening Ceremony.

For seating convenience your Banquet ticket has been numbered.
The number corresponds to a place setting on the long banquet tables.
Seating is allocated on purchase of tickets.

Although costuming is optional, we encourage you to enter into the spirit of the event and dress to impress.

Seating is on long benches at trestle tables.

Your ticket includes a complimentary glass of mulled wine.

The Banquet is fully licensed and wine, beers, cider and mead can be purchased.

Please note: No BYO.

The procession to the High Table by your hosts and Guests of Honour precedes the serving of the first remove.
Your meal consists of two removes, each consisting of several dishes, and an issue.

Me and Greg are going.

I have an embroidery class to go to that day which finishes at 4:30pm. I just called the Abbey, they told me 6pm for 6:30 start, and will finish around 9:30pm and 10pm. We hope to get there on time, say if we are late, we may miss out the intro.

I know I mentioned this to you already, but as much as I would really like to go, at the moment, the cost is prohibitive for me. Hope you guys still go and have fun and you must regail us with tales of medieval splendor!

Just a little update - tickets have been purchased. I do have ONE spare at the moment, unfortunately I wont know till closer to the date if I need it or not, but those that didnt get their name to me, or later decide they'd have liked to come, then keep in mind there will likely be a ticket still available.

The Menu for this year's Banquet has been posted! Here's the link!

I am not able to go to the banquit any more due to health reasons. so I have a free ticket, that is currently in Narelle's posesson. As I dont want to let the ticket go to waste, If any body wants a free ticket to use they are welcome to it. Just let me know.

The MC was excellent. The stick dancers were entertaining. We had a wonderful night.
