Saturday 26 June at UTS' tower building ... they're setting up a website, but here's some info.

Can't Stop the Serenity is a global charity event, which features a screening of Joss Whedon's 2005 film Serenity, to raise money for the charity Equality Now.

Sydney's 2010 Can't Stop the Serenity event includes a pre-event BBQ lunch*, a live Auction (prizes to be announced closer to the date), a Raffle, an Afternoon Tea Bake Sale, and of course, Serenity on the big screen!

Tickets are $15 when ordered online at www.dramatix.com.au/cstssydney, and $20 at the door.

Thankfully not in summer! My Inara costume would be too sweltering early in the year.

YCSTS now have permission to screen 'Dr Horrible's Singalong Blog' at this event, so there will be an OD of Nathan Fillion goodness! It's at my uni so I'd be there with bells on, except that I'll be in Perth that weekend...

There are many things that I could be proud of
If only I'd invented them, such as the wheel
The washing machine and the tumble dryer
On these inventions surely I could retire
