Yoyoydyne will be running a 'costume games night' this June at our Memberships Officer Silver Moonblaze's house.
Yoyoydyne will provide more information in the coming days, but start collecting bits of junk now that could be used for making 'stuff'.

Okay here's some info on this event!
Evening starts around 6.00pm at Sam's house in the hills, PM me for her address, this is the same location as the Christmas party and again bring some food for the barbecue for all to share.
Like the Christmas party Yoyoydyne will be providing an interactive quiz, where your participation for your team will either score you points or 'parts.' Part will mean bits and pieces for your team to construct a costume. I wont let more on than that, but those who were at the Christmas party may remember how awesome Steve's quiz was, this time it's taken up one notch.
As the game means we'll be making costumes on the run, it's still encouraged that you wear something costumy, but not bulky. Stormtrooper or Halo armour is definitely not going to aid your team!

THEN YOU'RE READY FOR CAPTAIN FREEDOMS WORKOUT AND COSTUME BUILDING KNOCKOUT!!!!!!!!!
Heres the skinny, depending on numbers we will draw random teams. Each team will be assigned a small collection of ITEMS. As the game progresses, the team can work on their costume construction, having selected a team mascot to be costumed by the others.The game will constist of questions, actions, performance and pranks. It will cover a broad selection of subjects including your fellow ACG members.
As OVERLORD I will be judging the costume being created on originality of design and accuracy of recreation, strength, resourcefulness, nudity(or lack thereof), inspiration and general cheekiness.
As the game progresses instead of playing for points you will play for extra costuming materials.
So your costume will benefit from team interaction and mutual support. Trading will be allowed.
To help create an impressive stockpile of items, please retain some of your recyclables, anything plastic which can be cut wth scissors, some leftover material from an old costume, Piping, cardboard sheets cut into interesting shapes, any contribution you can think of will go into the pot. if everyone brings a box full of items That would be magnificent.
Please restict items to things you dont mind being taped together, and speaking of tape, please bring a roll of packing tape or duct tape with you, a good pair of scissors (NOT THE GOOD SCISSORS!!!!) I'm drawing the line at hot glue guns, as much as i love them, I don't want anyone to get burned.

I've been collecting all sorts of plastic & plastic containers, cardboard & tubes etc that I come across. The night should be very interesting! I did something similar at a party once...very fun, and this one has added things to it...I dunno about the "pranks" part..hmmm. ;-)

Sounds like awesome fun. I'd love to be there, but not sure at this point due to health reasons, as well as madly preparing to go away a few days after the quiz night. I'll say maybe a yes for me and my trusty sidekick, but I won't be able to give a definite answer until a few days beforehand, sorry.
