We were going to raise this at the meeting on Sunday but as numbers are limited we will get an idea here! (so no one misses out on giving an indication of if and when they are available)

Robin Hood (I know another remake of the medival hero) is due for release on May 13th. I am keen to see this and I was wondering if there would be a group of us that would like to see this in costume?

If you are interested in coming along put up your preference dates!!! Weekends, evenings? Open forum for discussion!

I was thinking in the city cinema so it is a centralised place!

This should be a relaxing 'make-up as we go event'!

We will make the date on Sunday!

Forum members are encouraged too! smile.gif

OIY BY CRIKEY I'M A SPANIARD... no wait... OIY BY CRIKEY I'M ROBIN 'OOD!

biggrin.gif I'm going, I do love an opportunity for a movie in something that doesn't involve corsetry. AND we haven't done this in SO LONG!

I'd also like to second the invitation to all/any forum members (old and new). Of course that invitation goes for everything, but this was where it was mentioned first! smile.gif

I would love to go, as for days it really depends. First of all I have a fourtnightly roster now so while one saturday might be great the next might be out of the question. An evening on a weekday would generally be out for me, unless it was at chermey after I finished work or something and I could get changed and go straight up without comming home. When does the movie come out?

I love to come. Weekend is OK for me. If it is weekdays, I agree with Angela about chermy.

So!

We thought we might try and go to a Tuesday session on 18 May at Chermside, we were thinking about going to a 7pm-ish session... But... there isn't one. The closest is 6.40pm. So... Here are the options in VMAX...

6.40pm
9.30pm

I thought about going to Southbank instead, but it doesn't look like it's showing there.

Myer Centre times aren't much better... (6.15pm and 9.15pm)

However, Stafford is showing a couple of useful times including 7.15pm and 8.15pm...

What's everyone think?

Personally, I'd prefer the 9.30 (even though it'll make it a late night) because at least we can get something to eat and have some photos at the cinemas before hand.. smile.gif Otherwise the 8.15pm at Stafford would work well too. However, I'm fairly easily pleased.

To be honest, I think all those times are bad for me, so I think I'll have to count myself out. The best time would be the 6:40 at chermy but I'd need someone to bring my costume early enough for me to change into, and I finish work at 6:05 at the earliest and as late as 6:30 so thats probably not feasible.

Angela, I'm happy to pick your costume/ you up if you do want to come, we could make it over to Stafford at 8.15?

Same too, I could pick you up from home for the 9.30 session if you like.

Ok, I'm making an executive decision!

9.30pm session at Chermside. We'll meet for dinner outside downstairs where the gilhooley's etc is... probably at around 7.30pm.... (Then we can possibly have photos too)...

I'm going to book tickets online so we can all sit together, so you need to let me know by SUNDAY afternoon whether you're definitely coming. I'm also going to advertise on facebook see if we can't get some of the medieval people in Brisbane to come along too!

LIST!

Trust Chermside cinemas to mess with me! They're now advertising a 7.30pm showing, but I've widely advertised that we're going at 9.30, so I've booked 5 tickets.

As I said before, we'll meet at around 7.30pm downstairs outside the eatery, and we'll find something for dinner before getting some photos and going into the movie...

Yay! Looking forward to it.. smile.gif
