Sounds cool!

Are people staying at the usual suspects or trying somewhere different this time?

Have you been reading notes in the back of novels for book clubs????

I'm not sure if I'll be going, but I hope to. Somewhat boringly, it all depends on work

Every damn day. Literally.

I'm thinking I might do something different this year and wear a Stargate costume!
Ho ho ho, I'm so funny. But seriously I hope to have my SGU uniform done for one of the days. Odd though that there's no SG actors this year! Nice change though.

@Merrick:
Isn't Michael Shanks attending this year? both the Auckland and Melbourne Geddons?
You might yet have a reason to wear it biggrin.gif lol

I'm still not 100%, though if Michael Shanks is going(and doesn't drop out again) I'm tempted to wear my Black SG-1 offworld uniform which I've had half completed for a while.
I'll probably wear my Stormtrooper for one day or part of one and there are a couple of other costumes I'm still undecided on depending on their completion haha tongue.gif

Cheers! He wasn't on the list last time I checked (which granted was a few weeks back). Sweet!
But I kinda agree with Zac, I'll believe it when I see it.

Staying at the usual place, have a few costumes planned. Firstly, my Rebel Cheerleader, hopefully my rebel pilot, and also Supergirl for the DC Babes group for the Saturday night. Lastly, Batgirl, at last! Hoping it'll all fit in my suitcase wink.gif

Probably the same place, once the KINKS were worked out. Nobody seemed to be too keen on The Enterprise. (Hotel That is.)

Whatever fits in the car.... Master Jedi Fuzzy Warbles is a definite goer. But he will be only short term wear. An hour at a time tops.... unless I can work out an air conditioning system. Or more importantly a cooling system. Has anyone had any experience with surviving inside fur suits????
As I stood there on saturday morning scaring all the little kids... ( we were trooping) All I was considering was various techniques that might be employed to improve the wearability of the suit.

I have been especially asked to wear Comedian again, I can do that.

Plus maybe .... Giant steampunk walking trousers... They are being made! Those... if made correctly... will enable myself to nimbly jump in and out of them.

Not That it matters..... but whos actually coming... i.e.guests?

No mater where you go, there you are.

It's cheap accomodation for Melbourne, but it can be pretty noisy and lacking in some amenities I hear.

Awesome! I can't wait to see, although I have a Wallace and Gromit image in my head.

Sci-Fi Actors Dr Who's Sylvester McCoy, Star Trek's Dominic Keating, Jeffrey Combs, and Nana Visitor, plus B5's Claudia Christian, Diedrich Bader (Drew Carey Show, Office Space), and Juliet Landau (Buffy) are slated to attend. As is Michael Shanks from Stargate. I haven't checked the line-up for some weeks now, so correct me if I'm out-of date with some of these.

I'm hoping to have my Republic commando finished for it, also hoping to get the rest of my black SG1 Gear together to go as Daniel Jackson alongside Zac (did him at HUB's stargate con and it went down a treat!, on that note, if anyone out there can do carter or teal'c let us know tongue.gif haha)

Ok traditionally we've had an ACG dinner on the Friday night. Are any people up for that again, or would Saturday suit better?
