The Brisbane Chapter is hosting it's 3rd Regency Picnic on
Sunday 12 September 2010, from 11am - 2.30pm
at the
Mount Cootha Botanical Gardens.
Sunday 12 September 2010, from 11am - 2.30pm
at the
Mount Cootha Botanical Gardens.
Please bring your own lunch and it would be appreciated if attendees could bring an appropriate activity for the afternoon (eg. Graces, Shuttlecock, poetry reading, music, cards, embroidery, just to give you ideas!).
This year, we're moving to the Mount Cootha Botanical Gardens, and we've spied a lovely location for our picnic. It's marked number 17 on the below map.

If this area is already being utilised, head over the bridge to the bandstand area where we'll make our picnic instead.
We'd like to make this our biggest picnic yet, so please feel free to invite friends/family/reenactment groups to come along.

Looking forward to it. I am bringing my family along. I still need to finish my dress. I got some idea about the hat but have not started on working on it yet.

Hello Antonia!!!
I would suggest google the park (Mt Cootha) and look at the map there. It is numbered 17. If this fails...I have no idea!

I will be there, and I thought I would mention that I have invited along members of both RIFF and Dance Kaleidoscope through the facebook invite. Quite a few of them have said that they are going to come, so it should make for a nice sized group of regency picnicers.
