Only just very recently though, I decided to look a bit further into it...
So I stumbled across Jack Doud's Spaceballs costume. He also wrote about how he made the helmet and the belt buckle.
I recently contacted Jack Doud to find out if he had any of the spare belt buckles he mentioned. He does, and he's willing to sell some to me!
So I was wondering if anyone else in the guild would be interested in doing a couple of Spaceballs costumes?
Here's what the buckles look like. Jack tells me all they require is a little bit of sanding and painting, and then they are done! They are AU $7.80 for each buckle. He says that he can ship them in a box that could potentially fit two more buckles, so if two other people would like a buckle (and preferably live is SA so that I may get the buckle to them in person), we could perhaps split the postage three ways (postage in full is AU $15)?
So if you're interested in either getting one of these buckles, or just the costume itself, comment on this thread or send me a PM (whichever you'd prefer).
