I'm thinking of possibly doing a Jaffa Costume at some stage....

Would anyone know what would be best to use for the Jaffa Emblem (the one that goes on the forehead)?

There may be more professional ways to do it, but if you;re talking the gold 'prime' type I'd sculpt it with modelling clay or 'sculpy' and paint it. Adhere it using double sided tape.

Doesn't have to be the Gold one, as I've seen them in Black as well....

I was thinking more along the lines of if they were in Silicon or Resin or something, and could be just stuck on with Liquid Latex or something (just thinking out loud here, as I don't know what would be suitable for it), or even the double-sided Tape that you've suggested here

I guess it also depends if you want to be sculpting your emblem to your head or just gluing it on. Either way to attach, you can go with either a spirit gum which is a very strong special effects makeup glue or you could try the liquid latex which is a lot more flexible - you can either buy a large bottle, or head straight for the eyelash glue.

If you want to sculpt it to your head every time you wear one, I would go with a putty type of makeup product. You put some spirit gum in the place, wait for it to go tacky and then apply the putty and blend it into your forehead. Then you can just paint over it.

If you want to go for the black tattoo style, I would recommend either painting it on each time (with a black liquid eyeliner) or try looking online for temporary tattoos. You may luck out and find one.

Well, I *was* thinking about getting some implants.... :-p

I'll keep that one in mind....how strong is it and is there a Brand or whatever that I should look for?

At one stage, I was thinking of just using a 'Magic Marker', but then I started thinking that, if I did that, it would probably stay there for about a week or so

I saw in E-Bay a Sticker that I might end up getting and use instead if I can find some decent adhesive for it :-)

Eyelash glue is pretty much all the same no matter the brand. You get a free tube when you buy a set of false eyelashes, but you can get just the glue on its own. Shops like Priceline or Hairhouse Warehouse have it.

Why not just go the whole hog and get it tattooed? Then you don't have to worry about putting it on in the morning? :P By the way, rubbing alcohol should get rid of magic marker.

I've used a sharpee to draw Bariss Ofee tattoos on my face before, and I just sweat it off halfway through the day. Having said that, I also know someone that used a permenant marker to draw on his head and we had lots of fun getting it off later that night. So you could try the marker and see how it goes!

The black ones were stencilled on so any body paint should do (mixing a small amount of prosaide adhesive or liquid latex with the paint will help it survive longer) and the gold ones were made from hot glue poured into a silicone mould of the design. Once cooled the hot glue is slightly flexible and can be stuck down with prosaide or spirit gum.
