Hi everyone, I'm a uni student who loves to sew!

I have previously made basic cosplay outfits but have now got into corsets over the last year. I also would like the start sewing some outfits for myself.
I am currently working on my second corset :)

My next project I hope would be to make a custom bra for myself.

The biggest challenge for me apart from time is finding a broad range of affordable fabrics as the only fabric stores near me are a spotlight (poorly stocked) and a quilting shop.

Hopefully I can share any knowledge I have and gain plenty from the broad range of expertise here.

Hi Merrick, did you previously live in TAS? If so, I think I know/have heard of you.

Hi, I'm a corset lover, too. I've made a few and am currently working on my dream corset ( something I saw on a wedsite many years ago) I'll post pics when it is finished. Happy sewing to you, and welcome :)

Hi I am Pink and I organize the Canberra Chapter. I have just finished making a waspie corset and it fits and supports my back very well. Thank to one of our members who gave me some lessons and helped with fitting. Looking for fabrics? I have the same problem with expensive fabric stores with low variety. So I shop mostly on line I can recommend puresilks.us webshop for beautiful silks, velvets and chiffons etc. Service is excellent and it is registered mail direct to your do from India. I recently bought some black cotton velvet and it was only $16 per yard. I hope you find this link interesting and don't get lost with all that browsing.
