The Barrio Club has invited ACG and Steampunk SA folk to attend a couple of their special club nights to add to the ambience. Barrio is a "place where festival-goers can mix with artists and entertainers as they wander through a shantytown inspired maze of themed bars, streetfood stalls and strange happenings."

It's an eclectic mix of styles, art and artists in a changing setting and they have asked if any Steampunk, Dieselpunk or Star Wars /Trek nerd appropriate folk would like to attend and meander through their locale on their special club nights of Saturday March 3 and Saturday March 17.

March 3 is their Nerd Night, (See Porcelain's post below) - Think Star Wars, Star trek etc
March 17 is their End of World Party - think Steampunk / Dieslepunk etc.

The club opens at 9.30pm every night of the festival and is located at Hajek Plaza, Adelaide Festival Centre

Entry is free and they have offered a free drink token to costumed folk.
They have asked if you want to go to please email the organiser on tsubidu@gmail.com to secure your pass.

Whatever happened to Scratch & Sniff stickers? Turn up and hang out with the slightly obsessive or less social amongst us. Think Comics, Barbie Dolls, Atari and Weird Science.

Free Late Night Music:

New Zealand’s leading hip-hop/soul artist Ladi6 (NZ) and Donny Benet (AUS), son of 70’s accordion disco legend Giacomelli Benét. Donny wants to be the most famous disco accordion/Jazz bassist of the 21st century and we reckon he is in with a shot.

So just checking, they've asked for Steampunk and Dieselpunk for the 'End of the World' theme?

EDIT: I emailed the organisers and got a very quick response. Very much looking forward to Saturday!
