Anyone who went to the Hiemeji picnic probably heard me discussing a saikano (she the ultimate weapon) cosplay,
i thought i would add a topic to show people what i was actually talking about laugh.gif
The weaponry is pretty complicated looking however it does start simple, and advances over the series,
(its so cool looking when its really far into the series)

I think this cosplay would be perfect on Alikat as has the perfect figure for her - small and cute! happy.gif
(she came to the picnic as a neko school girl)

But yeah, theres no way we will be able to do it alone so any help will be awesome!!
ive attached some pictures

Wow, that is wild! I agree with you, it would be perfect for her. I'm not sure what you would make the weaponry out of. Will have a think about it!

I don't think so either... I realised today that I have no idea who he was on the forum because I was going to ask if he had his himeji photos anywhere.

Reactor Drone would be able to answer questions about what to make it out of and point you in the right direction though.

Replica Prop forums may have some articles about making similar sorts of things too. Pity the registration for that forum has just closed again. You could always search on what is there already though.

The small weapon is similar to the cannon below(with a few other bits attached). For the barrels you could use plastic, aluminium or even rolled newspaper tubes depending on your budget tongue.gif

The rest could be done in cardboard or plastic or kitbashed from any likely looking piece of junk you may find. The hardest part would probably be the ammunition belt hanging down the side but even that could be done with paper tubes and some sculpey or Knead-it for the pointy bullet fronts.

The bigger weapon will need to be light so polystyrene might work for the basic shape(might need a rod down the centre to tie everything together and to hold).Clad that with card, plastic plates or similar for the round bit in the centre and other bits and pieces.Check hardware store garden centers for tubes or scrounge the shed for offcuts.

It's amazing how a coat of paint will make a pile of bits come together happy.gif

Ha! Reactor Drone, you make it sound so easy! I'll have to make a costume with big props sometime just to give it a go. smile.gif
