I am really hoping to go to the fairytale picnic as a fairy god mother and would like to see some images/illustrations that don't look like old haggarty grandma's for some inspiration (although I do have some ideas). Does anyone know of any sites?

Also my sister Kerry is thinking of Red riding hood so any images of her would be appreciated as well.

hmm, I've been tending just to do google searches, and come up with some really interesting illustrations. Give it a go, and see what you can find.

I've found some beautiful ones of Snow White, and I'm somewhat inspired to do my own design. Also doubly so, since I found that Varda (one of the Tolkien Goddess type characters - also referred to as Elbereth) is referred to as Snow White by the Elves. Which is really tempting to give it an elvish spin. But the tv movie costume is just so beautiful, and this is my best reason to make it biggrin.gif Though I'm going to modify it slightly for my own tastes biggrin.gif

I really can't wait to see what everyone comes up with, let us know how you go!

Google image search! It rocks... just put in the character name or fairytale and you'll get heaps of pics from costumes to illustrations.

Also you could try a DeviantArt search

Morgan wants to go as Rapunzel (I had to buy a blonde wig!)
I have an idea, but I am worried I might die of the heat!!!
David has an interesting idea... hope he has the guts to wear it!
