Have you made any anime costumes? What did you make? Or do you have something on your wish list?



I would love to make a school dress from Evangelion and then there are so many other pretty things to make. I would eventually like to make something from ah my goddess or chobits too.

Generally, if the character has stupidly long blonde hair, I love them and probably intend to do their costume or have done it. Ie: Chii, Sailor Moon/Princess Serenity, Deedlit etc etc etc.

I'm also very fond of pink haired characters like Utena, armour like Saint Seiya, cute ones, big wings....so on and so on...there's SO much variety to chose from in anime/manga that a lot of times its hard to pick a fave and depends entirely on what mood I'm in that day. <lol>

ooo I would love to see your deedlit. I have been looking more at anime costumes since I've started making things for the guild and I think I'm going to be adding an outfit from these: slayers, ah my goddess, chobits, witch hunter robin, card captor sakura.. my list is getting bigger.

Have you seen steel angel kurumi?? Very long pink hair and oh so cute in her maids outfit! I've been watching that lately.

Hmmm, My favourite costumes are worn by Chii, Momiji, Sasuke, Hikaru (Angelic Layer - she has blue hair like Rei), Sanji (One Piece) and Edward Elric.

My favourite school uniforms are in Fruits Basket.

he he... Not all man made fabrics are evil... just most of them. I still try to keep to natural fibres as much as possible. lol

I wanna make kaname's uniform, rei's uniform, asuka's plug suit, at least two sakura costumes, witch hunter robin, pia carrot uniform, belldandy's battlesuit, something chii... so many things.

i dont know how to add the "flap"
on the "top" section of his kimono,

hmm so far i have a tetsaiga *kaname made 4 me*
an ear *kaname made for me again..*
the prayer beads *bought coz i couldnt find shark teeth beads anywhere!

I rarely make anime costumes, because the characters change too much from scene to scene.

Although, looking at some of the Trinity Blood character designs... ah! I would love to make one of them one day! (But I have too many game characters waiting for me to finish at the moment. X_x)

Hi nymph,
Perhaps you could post a pic of the character, that shows the section you are having trouble with? I might be able to help, but I'm not at all familiar with anime (or game) characters, so I don't know whay "flap" you're talking about...

PS. and try starting a new thread with your question - you'll get more people noticing it

Ive been searching up cosplay costumes and i thought i would share some of my fave costume ideas with everyone
