for the second day of Avcon ( Adelaides Anime- Video game convention)
im trying to organise a Sonic group
i have 2 people so far woot-woot happy.gif
Seeing as last year my sonic ideas were put off - and off and off
this year im actually going to do it for avcon
no more putting it off!
I need to modify my Amy Rose outfit,
and have already begun on the boots, they are looking so much better!
now Ken has agreed to make me the hammer
i was thinking maybe pvc plastic for the handle bit,
but im pretty clueless on what to make the head out of
any ideas?

And im going to make a cream the rabbit cosplay
just shes adorable! happy.gif
i want to make a cospl;ay beanie for the ears,
and im thinking of making the ears about a metre long
the only question i have is does anyone knoe what fabric would be good for this?
i know i need to be carefull of weight,
as i found out with my Ryo-Ohki headpiece

So far i have Amy Rose, and Knuckles
but i may get a rouche, shadow, Cream (if Amy will wear it for me...)

or dowel from the hardware store for the handle.

You'll probably have to kitbash the rest. Its fairly big isn't it... Would a large tin (milo? instant coffee) work as a base since that would be basically cardboard already formed into a cylander meaning the centre would be hollow to reduce weight. Then see what you can find for details, or you may need to build it up with something like paper clay. You can get some good paper clays from art stores like Ekersleys.

If that all ends up too heavy you may have to look at getting it moulded out of something lighter once you have finished making it.

Wow i havent even posted any images from Sonic here...
sorry about that happy.gif
Its probably impossible to know what im talking about with out them.. my bad! laugh.gif

Amy Rose

Cream

Knuckles

Rouge

Shadow

Sonic

Tails

My Amy Rose Cosplay doesnt have a hole at the back,
But i think its going to be far to much hastle to add one now,
And pretty difficult without a sewing machine
I dont think it will make that big of a difference
Im also going to have to remake the collar *Which im dreading*
And try to take it in at the hips so it sticks out right,
i forgot to take into consideration the weight of the white at the bottom when i was planning it....
The boots are almost done!!
i have remade the entire rim around the top,
now i need to redo the white stripes on the frount
i just need more super glue as mine has gone walk abouts
And im thinking of ditching the wig this time,
i really REALLY hated it
so im going to straighten/dye my hair
And have ears on a headband happy.gif
