While watching some AMVs i found the absoloute cutest anime ever Di Gi Charat,
After looking up some of the costumes on the web i found Piyokos outfit which i instantly fell in love with,
And doesnt appear to hard to sew, even for me!
This anime is uber cute but there are heaps of nice lolita style outfits in it
i found heaps by looking through here,

It looks like i will be going fabric shopping this weekend so i can start on Piyoko,
not sure how im gonna make the hat yet though
But it will be such a kawaii costume if i can do it all perfect!

You havent seen crossplay unless you saw the 30 year old guy crossplaying Sakura Haruno (Naruto) at Manifest.
one on my male friends Cosplayed as Sasuke (Sakuras love intrest) he got hugged from behind. and his face was hilarious

Well i started my cosplay yesterday, and the first part of the dress is about half done
I also discovered how cool my mum is,
i totally underestimated her sewing smart-ness

she gave me the perfect way to make the giant bow on the back,
i just have to use fairy wings as a base for it,
something i never would of thought of!!

on AMV hell CE they have pictures of a guy cosplaying as faye from Cowboy bebop
anyone who has seen that show will know how WRONG that is
think bright yellow tiny top and tinier shorts....creepy
i will have to get a screenshot 2nite!

nymph has decided SHE HATES PANE VELVET
grr,
i have cut out and taked together the striped dress,
and i started making the white dress out of pane velvet which was near impossible!!
and then after i tacked it all together i realised my fatal flaw
I forgot to resize it to fit over the striped dress,
and the pane velvet wasnt as strechy as the other material i used
so in other words ive got to remake at least half of the white dress

ok i have fixed the dress and it looks heaps better now
The hat is almost finished i just need to add the mouth on the panda and make the black ear thingies
the dress just needs to be sewn and all the little tid-bits added
so now i just have the bloomers and the bow
this is going along heaps faster then i expected
i may even be able to make a new cosplay for Avcon Saturday ^^

btw. if anyone knows any cheap shops that sell the really sharp fake nail can you let me know?
the store i got the Inuyasha ones from (those nails were so perfect for demons!!) doesnt sell them anymore

I may start looking at the Youkai version of Son Goku from Saiyuki for my next cosplay
i need to go to colonades to check out the prices on contacts though, ive been meaning to get some cats eye ones for a while
and i will need another brown mullet wig....
what is it ith demons and mullets?!
