I just found this amazing fursuit they were talking about over on furstralia.org. Its from a cartoon called Card Captor Sakura so I've put it in the cosplay forum.
This suit is a "quad" suit. So basically there are arm extensions on the front so that it looks like this character is walking along like a real lion when its in motion, and the back legs are shaped appropriately too.
There are progress photos in her gallery as well, so have a look at the foam sculpts and the arm extensions to see how its put together. Very nice fur suit!!
