NB: If you are going to Mini Animania, STOP READING AND GO TO THE CON! Don't spoil the surprise.

So I just finished sewing my costume for Mini ANimania (which starts in just over 6 hours, yay for last minute work). And i really like what i did, It's the first time I've tried this. Cause I realised that I wouldn;t have time to finish the original outfit I had started for this event, I came up with this idea on monday. But you guys get a special preview cause I really happy with how it turned out and most of you won't be attending. I am going as:

Yes I'm cosplaying as the Madman logo. I know this has been done before but he wont compare to my efforts on stage.
I keep forgetting my main problem with finishing costumes last minute. If i run out of material, I'm stuffed. I ran short of the straping, and so could only do a single layer instead of a double. So I won't be able to struggle as much in fear of ripping them. The other reason it's bad doing it last minute, especially this late at night, with this costume I kinda need help trying it on, and no one is awake, So I will have to try it on when i get to the con. :S

But here are photos of the straight jacket. It's not as impressive in photos since it's all white on white but you can get the idea (all photos are clickable thumbs):

Close up of the front

Close up of the back

And a full shot of the back. I never realised how long I would have to make the arms. If any of you have met me irl, you'd remember that I am not the tallest of people, 5'4". And to give you an idea of the arms, that carpet is 6'6" wide.

And here is the sneaky bit, besides the straps at the back, (the groin strap is double layered) This is a fully functioning straight jacket for someone my size except for one thing. Obviously I cant get into it by myself but I can still get out of it (yeah I know my firends would think it's amusing by not letting me out) I did invisible slits, 2.5" wide, where my hands would be on the underside so I can get my arms free. This photo is the slit with a green piece of paper in it otherwise you can't actually see it.

I'll get some photos of it when I'm wearing tomorrow.

Btw sorry I tend to waffle on about my costumes.
