Well It's a life size plushie for a costume.

And I've never made one before so I was looking for advice on how to do it. It's for alter this year but i wanna do a couple of smaller ones first, cause it's will be a very expensive mistake if i buggar up the full one.

Well i mean the best way to go about it

"plushie" is a very very massive subject...

animal, mineral, vegetable??

the harder the shape, the harder to make the plushie.

I'm a bit confused (not too hard today), are you trying to make a suit that you wear? or a full sized toy - which size, cos a horse is bigger than a rabbit?

oh, so really you want a fursuit, but scale the pattern down to quarter size to see if it works? You can PM me if you want ... I'm good at keeping other peoples secrets. And if it's anime, I won't even know the character cos that's my main area of weakness, in pop culture at least. sleep.gif

so I assume you are talking about a giant fur suit?

Well...I have had thoughts on making one XD lawl, Pokemon.

Anyway. I guess the first thing to do is make some kind of frame/support?

I've seen Totoro cosplayers who've just used hoop skirts and pillows....well...lets say it could have been done better.

I forgot the word for these types of cosplays kufu....skshc....something...its in my cosplay panel somewhere XD

It's not exactly a fur suit. IT's kinda hard to explain without giving too much away...
