Just asking for some ideas on how to make this cosplay:
Clicky for Piccy

I am thinking on making for Amaranth this year ^^

I need advice for the corst-skirt thingo (not sure what to call it blush.gif ) and her top...I have an idea for the actual skirt - but advice for that is welcomed too.

Thankies in advance ^^

I recommend looking through the patterns online at sites like Simplicity or McCall's, I've seen similar outfits on them or at least ones that can be easily modified.

Another helpful hint: Go to Control Panel, in Category View click "Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options". Then click "Add other languages". Tick the two boxes under "Supplemental language support" and then Apply and Okay. This will make Japanese and other languages display on your computer instead of boxes.

From the image I would say you could do seams exactly where the lines are on her outfit.

If you break down the parts it is usually easier...

Shirt (get an existing pattern if you're not sure. It looks like a peter pan collar and flairing sleeves... maybe you an even buy one)
Neck Bow (dead easy to make... I'd make one with a badge back so it stays full and pretty)
Under Skirt (maybe just a circle skirt for fullness)

Corset has overskirt and little shoulder straps attached (If it were me, I would draft this from scratch, but you could find a pattern as a base as Atory said)

Brown Boots (they're everywhere right now... should be able to find them cheap)

Grey Wig (ebay?)
Red Contacts? (Read that thread on contacts first)
