This is Jo - I was wandering around with my friend in the BtSSB onepiece carrying one of my BJDs
Just wanted to properly say hi, since I was being all shy for some reason and couldn't quite bring myself to butt into anyones conversations to introduce myself >__<
I was very surprised and happy to win the little mini fashion parade, my first gothic lolita bible <33, I always feel ashamed that I'm no seamstress and can't make my own things (hence why I've never posted here before despite being registered for a couple of months).
I'm going to be there again tomorrow if anyone else is there. I'd really love to attend the next meet whenever its planned XD

If you wanna see us all in the same place tomorrow, (well forthose of us going) ACG are doing the cosplay panel @midday in the little theatre, Metaonia, Cat_M, starfirephoenix are running it, and apperantly I'm also doing it?!
But there will be a few other members there. So pop along and say hi!

I was the lolita in the pink bolero, green skirt and white ling-lam shoes at the fashion parade. I think I also caught your eye the next day in the vendor's hall when I was wearing my green tartan skirt and cap ensemble. I tried to catch up with you later to say hi but didn't find you around in my wanderings.
Congratulations on winning the parade award. It was so much fun to be in the parade, even if I felt very shy at the time!
I hope you get the chance to meetup with the Adelaide lolitas. I think they had something planned for late July....

Do we have something planned for late July?? I'm not sure, but it sounds like I'd better start looking into a few options for the next meet now that AVCon is finished... but maybe after I have some sleep

The way it is going I think a meet-up every month may be in order (if possible). We could alternate in organizing them.

*blush* big compliment for me since everything I was wearing except the pink bolero was handmade. IW is one of my favorite brands for sure so comparing my stuff to theirs is a HUGE compliment for me. Thank you. I'm already looking at starting my next project which will be a blue one piece or JSK... still looking for inspiration at this point.
I really hope you get a chance to catch up with the Adelaide lolitas as they are all really lovely people. Hopefully sometime in the future I'll make it down to Adelaide for another visit and see if I can't organise a lolita meetup for the same weekend

Kimi... you looked gorgeous as Nana! That wig was also fabulous on you! I didn't realise it was you until Alison told me afterwards! Was your black skirt handmade because it was really swish.

The hat just finishes it off!
You lolita girls make me want to get back to work on my cherry dress

Thankyou, I was having trouble with the wig because it was really front heavy, so I could barely see anything. Even my own brother didn't recognise me! And yup, I made the skirt. I copied the design from one I found on F+F, now I just need to find something with enough oomph to make it puff out properly. I had put some steel hoops in it but they didn't hold it well enough. I think a full bamboo hoop skirt might be in order.
Did you make the shirt you were wearing too? I love your little tam-o-shanter hat. It really topped your outfit off nicely.

Speaking of High-Tea Atory, -has anyone ever been to a little place on Unley Road Called "Just Tickled Pink"? -Ive never actually been in, but its a recent discovery of mine, and it looks devine!

I just looked at it, looked at her and gave it back.
I told her I was from Melbourne to which she replied with "ahhh that would be why I haven't seen you before "
=/ XD

I was the white lolita judging the parade (the one that actually handed you the Gothic and Lolita Bible <3).
I look forward to catching up with you at the next Adelaide Lolita Fashion Meet

Atory, I will try and get there so we can chat. I think it is after my next pay so I should be able to afford it
Shi: what do you mean you won't be at our next lolita meet???
