I have been looking into making my own woolen dreadlock extensions, for a new costume idea -
however I can not seem to loacte anyone is Australia that sells unspun coloured wool. Can anyone help me

Spotlight is selling felting wool at the moment. Should be perfect for your needs. You can get bags with mixed colours here in SA at least in the craft section. I saw it only about a month ago.

Spinners and Weavers Guild? I have seen a couple of people in the SCA with some they were spinning themselves as well

Another option for fake dreadlocks is crepe hair - available from theatre/dance supply type shops

I think I will use wool now for Remu's dreads. I may have a local supplier but I might still purchase online if they have the colour I'm after.
