What kind of price range and length/style are you after. Also, are you looking at "party colour" red, or natural looking red?
If you want to buy from australia you may pay quite a bit for a decent wig.
On the other hand myself and starfire have a few ebay sellers that we have been happy with in the past. If you can show us what character you need it for we may be able to help you find something

I buy all my wigs online. Its a lot cheaper and there is more variety. What length are you after, fringe or no fringe, and which shade of red do you want?

I suggest a punky or rocker wig and then just use something to clump it to get the style. They can be found in most costume stores or at SpotLight sometimes but if you want a real good quality one it would be best to look online.

I get most of my wigs online - namely ebay. Try this ebay shop:

Professional only

I was looking at them last night and they have the perfect wig for that costume.

Keep in mind when choosing a wig that those cheap wigs are VERY thin on top. Trust me, I have a few. They are good for some things, but not for others. For this style, you might want to avoid them as they won't give you much hair to work with.

Looking at the hairline at the front, I think you will want to avoid wigs with a fringe or a centre part or any style that goes down at the front. If it has a skin part then it will automatically want to sit flat into the parting. It looks like it should be smooth at the front, so you might want to go with something more like this:

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/New-100-Pure-Vanity...oQQcmdZViewItem

That's from a seller based in Australia. You will be paying a bit more for their wigs, but they are good quality.

You can see in their pic and their description that the wig has a smooth front so that when the hair is styled back, it will give a look close to what you want to achieve. It also says that you can move the parting, so it's not stuck in one style. Sometimes if it's stuck in one particular style, it is hard to remove. You want something that looks as close to what you want. It would need to be cut and styled though. Hairdressers will cut wigs and usually charge the same as they would for a normal haircut. As for styling it, I'm not sure what to use on synthetic wigs to keep a style like that in place. It won't behave the same way as it would if it was real hair, so be careful what products you use on it. I don't have any experience with styling products in synthetic wigs unfortunately, but I know there are forums around the place that can give you some tips.

Good luck!

Yeah I have seen a really good Axel wig that some has styled from a Punky wig - it would work since the bangs are already there :3

It got it off ebay: Ebay Page

You can get it in other colours too :3 Its around 35$ including postage - since the store is based in Melbourne they give you 3 different types of postage, regular, express and courier. And their wigs are really nice - it has a nice silky touch to it.

I used got2b spiking glue - every sticky stuff XD and got2b freezing hairspray. The glue you can get at Woolworths...but the spray was a tad harder to find - found it at a pharmacy at TTP.
